Pediatricians

Sharon Bucher, M.D.

Dr. Sharon Bucher attended Smith College in Massachusetts for undergraduate studies. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine before completing her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

Sharon joined the practice in 1984 and practices general pediatrics. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her daughter and husband.

 

Susan Cuneo, M.D.

 

Dr. Susan Cuneo obtained her bachelor’s at the University of California, San Diego. She then received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Susan became a part of Evergreen Pediatric Clinic in 1994. She practices general pediatrics, and is a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine. In her spare time, Susan likes to hike and spend time with her husband and two children.

Aidan deRenne, M.D.

Dr. Aidan deRenne attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received his undergraduate degree. He then attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and went on to Children’s Hospital – Los Angeles for pediatric residency.

Aidan practiced pediatrics elsewhere in Washington for five years before relocating to Vancouver and starting with Evergreen Pediatrics in 2005. In addition to general pediatrics, Aidan enjoys caring for children with complex medical problems, and he also is a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Aidan is married with two children.

 

Megan Eussen, M.D.

Dr. Megan Eussen received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She then completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital – Kansas City.

Megan joined the practice in 1996 and job shares with Dr.Hutchinson. She practices general pediatrics. Married with four children, she participates in many activities with her family, including horseback riding.

 

Charles Fuchs, M.D.

Dr. Charlie Fuchs received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his pediatric residency at New England Medical Center/Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Fuchs also served an additional year as Chief Resident at that institution.

Charlie came onboard at Evergreen in 1981 and practices general pediatrics. Special areas of interest for him include caring for children with disabilities and managing attention deficit disorder and behavioral problems. Charlie enjoys hiking and spending time with his wife and two children.

 

Kathleen Hutchinson, M.D.

Dr. Kathleen Hutchinson grew up in Portland, and attended Lewis and Clark College. She completed her medical degree and pediatric residency at Oregon Health Sciences University.

Kathleen joined Evergreen Pediatric Clinic in 1990, and job-shares with Dr. Megan Eussen. She practices general pediatrics and has a particular interest in pediatric dermatology. Kathleen also has served as a volunteer faculty member at the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine.

In her spare time she enjoys mentoring in local schools, hiking and exploring the Northwest with her husband and two children, and sampling local ethnic cuisine.

 

Charles Rapp, M. D.

Dr. Charlie Rapp received his bachelor of arts in history from Amherst College in Massachusetts. He then went on to Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his pdeiatric residency at Children’s Hospital – Los Angeles.

Charlie joined the clinic in 2001 and practices general pediatrics. He is especially interested in sports medicine, pediatric urology and pediatric pulmonology/asthma. He is married with three young children and likes to spend time hiking, running, and sailing. Charlie is a faculty member of the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he is a clinical instructor.

Jennifer Soden, M.D.

Dr. Jennifer Soden attended the University of Oregon, and received her medical degree at the Oregon Health & Sciences University School of Medicine. She completed pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital of Oakland.

Jennifer joined Evergreen Pediatric Clinic in 2005. She is proficient in Spanish. In addition to general pediatrics, she has a special interest in wellness and health promotion. She enjoys travel, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her son and husband.

 

Donald Thompson, M.D.

Dr. Don Thompson attended college at Idaho State University and medical school at the University of Utah. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.

Don founded Evergreen Pediatric Clinic in 1978. Married with two grown children, Don’s hobbies include family, cooking, travel and sports cars.

 

Luke Voytas, M.D.

Dr. Luke Voytas attended Duke University in North Carolina for undergraduate studies, and received his medical degree from Washington University in his hometown of St. Louis. He continued his journey west to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where he completed his pediatric residency training and stored up on some sunshine.

Luke joined EvergreenPediatric Clinic in 2008 to practice general pediatrics. His is also especially interested in sports medicine. In his free time he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, tennis, sand volleyball hiking, running and backpacking. He enjoys exploring the Northwest with his wife, who is also a pediatrician, and their young son.
